Case Study - Ladbrokes

The Ladbrokes brand is synonymous with betting and gaming.

Today the company, who started out back in the 1880’s,employs more than 14,000 people in 5 countries making it the world’s largest fixed odds betting company.

They are also the leading bookmakers in UK, Ireland and Belgium with over 2,600 owned and operated stores.

Design

It wasn’t the simple roll of the dice that brought A&D and Ladbrokes together.

Awarded the tender in May 2004, A&D’s winning combination of creating a strong commercially driven range and tailor made delivery service to all of its stores countrywide proved to be the ace for this partnership.

This range has been constantly evolving, ranging initially from printed blouses and shirts to the current new look, which was rolled out countrywide in a record two-week period.

Both the design and account management team visited key sites to talk to staff and get a clear understanding of what was required for a new look going forward.

While comfort and practicality has always been key to this new look, which was wearer trialled to rave reviews, it blends high street styling with classic colouring.

Management

When orders are placed or new employees start a dedicated customer service advisor guide’s staff through the order process under the care of its own dedicated account manager.

Goods are picked and shipped daily to over 2,600 sites across the UK and arrive the next day.

Ladbrokes recently awarded A&D a four-year extension to their current contract.
